On behalf of McGill, NOSM, Queen’s and the University of Ottawa, Departments of Anesthesia, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 11th annual Lower & Upper Canada Anesthesia Symposium (LUCAS); 33rd Ottawa Winter Anesthesia Symposium and 67th McGill Anesthesia Update.
LUCAS will be held from February 20 & 21, 2027 at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Ontario and hosted by the Departments of Anesthesia from the McGill, Queen’s, the University of Ottawa and Northern Ontario School of Medicine. We have combined the Ottawa Winter Anesthesia Symposium and the McGill Anesthesia Update into an event that will grow the relationships between our four institutions and continue to deliver an outstanding educational and collaborative experience.
This year, due to the continued success of our 2026 Hybrid Symposium, we expect 350 attendees including anesthesiologists, anesthesia residents and anesthesia assistants/respiratory therapists from across the country.
The Organizing Committee has arranged a dedicated exhibition space in the Canada Room Foyer at the National Arts Centre to showcase your products and equipment on Saturday, February 20. This world-class venue will provide you, as well as the delegates, an opportunity to discuss the latest pharmaceutical and technological developments relevant to anesthesia, critical care, and perioperative medicine.
An added benefit this year is that the evening reception will also take place in the Canada Room Foyer, and exhibitors are warmly invited to remain in the space to network with delegates and colleagues throughout the reception.
